The seventh-ranked Michigan State Spartans extended their winning streak to eight games with a 74-64 victory over No. 23 Oregon Ducks in Friday's Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals at Indianapolis.

Michigan State started strong with an 8-0 run, weathered Oregon's response, and closed the first half with a 15-4 surge to lead 42-32 at halftime.

Oregon rallied early in the second half, cutting the deficit to 44-43, but the Spartans answered with a game-defining 15-0 run that pushed their lead to 59-43. The Ducks couldn't recover from this decisive blow.

Jase Richardson led Michigan State with 17 points, followed by Jaden Akins (12), Jeremy Fears Jr. (11 points, 5 assists), and Coen Carr (10 points, 8 rebounds). Oregon was paced by Nate Bittle's double-double (22 points, 11 rebounds) and TJ Bamba's all-around performance (11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists).

With this victory, Michigan State (26-7) advances to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals against the Wisconsin-UCLA winner, while Oregon (23-10) awaits their NCAA Tournament seeding on Selection Sunday.
